LaTonya Story is the CEO and Founder of LPS Consulting PR, a minority and woman owned sports and lifestyle agency with over 20 years of experience working in the brand strategy, public relations and marketing space representing high-profile personalities, corporate brands, and non-profit organizations. Clients and projects include the National Football League, Michael Vick (FOX Sports NFL Analyst & Former NFL Quarterback), Kenny Selmon (USA Track & Field Olympian), Natasha Scruggs (Attorney and Social Justice Advisor for Athletes), and Tiara Willis (Beauty Influencer).
In 2019, LaTonya created The Sports Power Brunch: Celebrating the Most Powerful Women in Sports, an annual awards event that honors leading women in sports who have made an indelible mark in the sports industry. This event held at each Super Bowl host city also includes empowering panel discussions and networking opportunities that encourages women to continue to thrive and excel in careers in sports.
LaTonya has received numerous awards and recognitions, including the Atlanta Business League’s Success Against the Odds Award, Women Out Front Award from Georgia Tech Women’s Basketball and the Women in PR Trailblazers Award. LaTonya was also recognized by Black Enterprise as one of the top sports executives to follow on Twitter.
She is a member WISE Atlanta, Black Sports Professionals and Diverse Representation. In 2021, LaTonya was appointed to the American Cancer Society’s Women in Sports Council.
She attended Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA.
