Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Oakland Raiders Postgame Notes

– The Buccaneers scored the first points of the game on a 41-yard field goal from K Roberto Aguayo, who capped a 12-play, 66 yard drive that lasted 6:31. The drive was Tampa Bay’s 11th drive of the season that lasted at least 10 plays.

– Tampa Bay recorded the first takeaway of the game after DE Noah Spence sacked Raiders QB Derek Carr for a two-yard loss, forcing a fumble that was recovered by DE Howard Jones at the Oakland 34-yard line. It was the third sack of the season for Spence and his first career forced fumble. It was the second career fumble recovery for Jones and his first this season. Tampa Bay has now created a takeaway in three consecutive games.

– On the ensuing drive, QB Jameis Winston connected with WR Russell Shepard on a 19-yard touchdown pass, ending a three-play, 34-yard drive that lasted 1:21. Shepard now has two touchdown receptions on the season and three in his career.

– Winston added his second touchdown pass of the day on the first play of the fourth quarter, a five-yard touchdown pass to TE Cameron Brate to complete a three-play, 47-yard drive that lasted 1:12. Brate now has three touchdown receptions on the season, matching a career high. He has six receiving touchdowns in his career. The touchdown pass was the 14th of the season for Winston and the 36th of his career.

– RB Jacquizz Rodgers scored his first touchdown with the Buccaneers in the fourth quarter, a one-yard run to give the Buccaneers the lead. It was the sixth rushing touchdown of Rodgers’ career.

– Following Rodgers’ touchdown, Winston connected with WR Mike Evans for a two-point conversion to tie the game at 24. It was Evans first career two-point conversion.

– Today’s game marks the first overtime game for Tampa Bay this season and the team’s first since 2015 (11/1/15 at Atlanta).

– In overtime, CB Jude Adjei-Barimah recorded his second career sack, dropping Carr for a four-yard loss. Adjei-Barimah also recorded a sack last week against San Francisco. He is the first Buccaneers defensive back to record multiple sacks in a season since S Mark Barron had 2.0 in 2013. He is the first Buccaneers cornerback to do so since Ronde Barber had 2.0 in 2009.
