G-Easy, aka Gerald Earl Gillum, is an American rapper from Oakland, Ca. He attended college at Loyola University in New Orleans. Starting out as a record producer, G-Eazy began working on singles while he was still a student at the Loyola University at New Orleans with his producer Christoph Andersson who also was a student there.  <\/span>He gained some recognition for being a part of the new hip hop scene back in the East Bay Area, joining with such artists as Lil B, Crohn and The Cataracs.<\/sup> He became a member of a local hip hop group called “The Bay Boyz”, who had released several songs on their Myspace page. <\/p>\n

He released first major-label album, These Things Happen<\/i>, was released on June 23, 2014, and peaked at number 3 on the US Billboard<\/i> 200. His third album, The Beautiful & Damned<\/i>, was released on December 15, 2017, and peaked at number 3 on the US Billboard 200. It featured the single “No Limit” (featuring Cardi B and ASAP Rocky), which reached number 4 on the US Billboard<\/i> Hot 100. G-Eazy released his long anticipated fourth studio album These Things Happen Too<\/i> on September 24, 2021. It was supported by the singles “Running Wild (Tumblr Girls 2)” and “Breakdown” featuring Demi Lovato in the weeks leading up to the release date.<\/p>\n

W Scottsdale<\/a>, located in the heart of the city\u2019s booming Entertainment District, hosted a live performance by acclaimed hip hop artist, songwriter and producer G-Eazy presented by Pepsi Zero Sugar on Thursday, February 9, 2023 to kickoff Big Game Weekend and the W Scottsdale “Super Week” series. The event was Presented by Pepsi Zero Sugar and W Scottsdale, Powered by E11EVEN and Spellbound Entertainment Group, and G-Eazy performed live at W Scottsdale\u2019s Cottontail Lounge. The previous night Rick Ross <\/b>performs, and the Super Week weekend lineup continues with Cardi B<\/b>. on Feb 10 and the Playboy party featuring Ludacris<\/b> on Feb 11.<\/i><\/p>\n
