{"id":382,"date":"2015-01-13T19:00:30","date_gmt":"2015-01-13T19:00:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ampsmagazine.com\/?p=382"},"modified":"2021-01-16T08:11:07","modified_gmt":"2021-01-16T08:11:07","slug":"dub-car-show-dallas-texas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ampsmagazine.com\/?p=382","title":{"rendered":"DUB CAR SHOW &#8211; Dallas, Texas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The 10th Annual Monster Energy Custom Car Show and Concert on behalf of the DFW\u2019s Hip-Hop and R&amp;B provider, 97.9 THE BEAT, was held June 1st at the Dallas Convention Center in downtown. \u00a0One of the biggest events in Dallas showcased cars, trucks, motorcycles, and even bicycles. <a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/ampsmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/dub-car-show-5.png\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-383 \" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/ampsmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/dub-car-show-5.png?resize=338%2C253\" alt=\"dub car show 5\" width=\"338\" height=\"253\" \/><\/a> \u00a0This year\u2019s concert lineup included: Houston\u2019s \u00a0Kirko Bangz, Propain, Mike Jones, Slim Thug &amp; Z-Ro, New Orleans Hip-Hop legend, Mystikal, new singers Tinashe, Bando Jones, held it down for the R&amp;B side of the concert and set the mood for the mainstays, T-Pain and K. Michelle, who found time to let women from the audience showcase their vocal skills and air out some of her problems with her former cast members of the VH1 reality show,\u2019 Love and Hip-Hop: Atlanta\u2019, the new Hip-Hop stars on the radio, K Camp and Rich Homie Quan touched the stage, Dallas\u2019 own Dorrough, Beat King, and Fat Pimp, and the headliners, Webbie &amp; Lil Boosie. \u00a0 After a slight delay, Lil Boosie was finally able to make his return to Dallas after his nearly five year prison sentence in Angola. In April, a club appearance at local Dallas nightspot, Icons, was cut due to the Baton Rouge rapper\u2019s inability to travel outside of Louisiana due to his probation.
