Erica Jennings’s Pre-Christmas gift – a powerful ballad<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Irish born singer, already enjoying a spectacular musical career in\u00a0Lithuania,\u00a0expands her horizons as a solo artist\u00a0presenting her\u00a0single “Leading Me\u00a0Home”\u00a0worldwide. “I sing, compose and write to inspire”, – says Erica Jennings.<\/p>\n

A song perfect for\u00a0pre-Christmas spirit \u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

A month\u00a0before Christmas\u00a0Erica gives us “Leading me Home”. A song\u00a0she wrote and\u00a0composed, featuring\u00a0the\u00a0most prominent, versatile and adventurous\u00a0Lithuanian\u00a0pianist\u00a0Petras Geniu\u0161as and gospel choir “Hark”.<\/p>\n

“Petras is a wonderful artist. He’s the perfect example of how one should always\u00a0aspire to learn as much as possible in\u00a0life”,\u00a0– she says.<\/p>\n

A simple, yet haunting piano ballad with soaring vocals and more than a touch of\u00a0gospel flavor.\u00a0\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

“It’s about human struggle, the challenges we all face and how love can heal,\u00a0strengthen and truly conquer all. Coincidentally we are now facing the largest refugee\u00a0crisis of our time. Through all of life’s afflictions we must remember that love will set\u00a0us free and we should not allow ourselves to be fearful or ignorant.”<\/p>\n

When asked where home is for the singer she replies that\u00a0“Home isn’t home if your\u00a0loved ones are elsewhere. It’s a place to live, but it’s not home. Home for me is my\u00a0husband and children, wherever we may be”.<\/p>\n

She feels as though the song\u00a0has been channeled from\u00a0somewhere\u00a0in\u00a0her\u00a0subconscious:\u00a0“When I had\u00a0began composing\u00a0the song, it came together so\u00a0fluidly as if it were “meant to be”. Sometimes, it happens. Any artist will tell\u00a0you.\u00a0And the feeling is pure magic”.<\/p>\n

Erica remains true to her heart<\/strong><\/p>\n

Erica Jennings has thrived on the Baltic music scene ever since she began her\u00a0professional career as a teen.\u00a0After traveling the world with her parents she settled in\u00a0Vilnius and conquered\u00a0the\u00a0market easily.<\/p>\n

There wasn’t much competition for her\u00a0then, although\u00a0clearly she\u00a0understands\u00a0that\u00a0outside the Lithuanian market there will be plenty. “But\u00a0I\u00a0welcome\u00a0it. Competition is healthy and necessary. Different music for different tastes\u00a0is crucial in music. It’s the one language we all speak. It unifies us”.<\/p>\n

She has always sung from the heart.\u00a0“I’m concerned with 2 things. Being true to\u00a0myself and not letting ego destroy my art. As the great Oscar Wilde said “Be yourself.\u00a0Everyone else is already taken””.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, she admits that only now after ups and downs in her life she\u00a0is\u00a0confident enough to reveal parts of\u00a0herself she\u00a0might have guarded before.<\/p>\n
