On October23, 2021 the Blue Origin space program sent 4 more people into space to experience the ‘Civilians in Space,’ ride for regular humans that are not considered astronauts.
This 11 minute trip was quick but it was one of a kind. The capsule allowed 4 people to have a 4 minute zero gravity experience.
Among the crew was William Shatner, 90 years old, and the oldest person to experience space travel. Audrey Powers, Blue Origin’s vice president of mission and flight operations, as well as Chris Boshuizen and Glen de Vries.
