South Africa’s Zozibini Tunzi was crowned Miss Universe Sunday, December 8, 2019 which was held at Tyler Perry’s Studios in Atlanta, Ga. She
Tunzi was asked a question on social issues and the last change to explain why she deserves to be Miss Universe. Her response was, “I grew up in a world where a woman who looks like me — with my kind of skin and my kind of hair — was never considered to be beautiful,” she said in her last response. “I think it is time that that stops today.
