Sipp the Surgeon lives in a world filled with straight razors, clippers, and sheers. He is the owner of The Art of Barbering in Grand Prairie, Texas. As a barber with more than 20 years of experience, Sipp has competed and won first place in various hair battles throughout Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Georgia, Louisiana, and Mississippi. He is known across the country for his precision work with a straight razor, thus coining the term “Sipp Fade Worth the Wait”. He got the name Sipp the Surgeon because his clients often tell him that they feel they are in surgery when getting a haircut.
Sipp is the official barber for world renowned Pastor, speaker, and author, Bishop T.D. Jakes. People often ask Sipp what makes him different than the average barber. His response, “I don’t cut hair to live a lavish life. I actually cut hair like my life depends on it.”
